Wish list for new titles

By Beren Eoath, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

Off the top of my head:

Elves and More Elves!

Another Creature Guide (cards)

A short adventures book

An equipment book (yeah, I know…) with item cards!

More fluff books on tilea, skaven, etc.*

*Yeah, I know a lot of stuff came out for 2nd edition covering this - but its also hard to get/expensive in some cases. Plus it would be nice to have 3e stats.

Hi,

what about "Highlanders and Seamen of Albiona"

"Desert dwellers and djinn of Arabia"

"Renaissance and Wonders of Tilea"

or "Gods of Light and Fanatics of Estalia"?

and what I don't want to see is,a Warhammer 4th edition before finishing the third…

I WANT CONVENTION SUPPORT SCENARIOS. [yelling loudly into the chaos void]

I WANT A RETURN OF THE ANNUAL SCENARIO WRITING CONTEST [screaming madly into the hellgate]

jh

I strongly support the campaign toolkit that was already mentioned. Absolutely, I want something like that. I have the gold crowns, just make it happen, darnit!

As for a separate campaign setting, the new Enemy Within will cover chaos cultists to everyone's satisfaction, I should think, so I'd like to see something else in this hypothetical box. And I think Skaven is my main wish. There has been such a project back in the days, but I was scrapped. Graeme Davis said something to that effect in his interview on the 'Small but Viscious Podcast'. Well folks at FFG, get the rights for it, get the dust off the roughdraft and get writing! ;-)

Alternatively, Tomb Kings sounds interesting, or pirates in Estalia. Wouldn't mind campaigning in Norsca either, or deep beneath the World's Edge Mountains. Also, convention scenarios would suit me fine, since I GM occasionally with random groups on a weekend and I need to have small, contained adventures that fit into 2 4h sessions.

Woodelf supplement (along the same lines as black fire pass).

While it's not canon lore, the Liber fanatica supplement for Wood Elfs offers quite a bit of background. It might be of interest to you, for the time being:

I would like to see

1. The missing Elf box. All kinds (including Sea and Dark).

2. an "Adventures on the High Seas and Rivers" supplement with rules for boat to boat combat and career, location, item, and action cards related to the boating life. Rules for trading, boat repair costs etc…

3. A "Life in the Empire" type box containing more types of beasts of burden and riding animals. It could contain a Gazeteer, a decent map (please!), perhaps a small city, and loads of location, item, and NPC cards and some sexy adventure or career to help move some units.

Not really interested in a bunch of "bad guys" collections. We have most of what we need there….

But, but… I need more!

Wow! Here's a lot to read. Thanks all fans for your opinions!

I see that many of us want a Elven expansion. I think that we will get it but the only question is when.

The Enemy Within come in big spets to us. Any day we should here something about it - the last time we had any news the release date for it was 3Q 2012 or summer 2012, cant remember correctly. And after it we should get some news about future prodects. Let's keep our fingers crossed fort that we will get any news soon and some new prodects even sooner!

Cheers

Personally I have no interest in seeing an elf expansion unless it presented them as npcs/monsters. I just dont think elves should be PCs an yes I am still pissed they were in the third edition base set as a race instead of halflings (not that I have any love for halflings).

More on topic, it depends if they plan on moving the timeline forward or not. If not I would like to see a new Sigmar Hiers kind of of thing, to talk about more than Riekland. Maybe a new adventure set detailing a new town and the enemies invading it, say greenskins.

Another well laid out city with a political focused adventure would be great too.

@DevoutBagder - don't worry. I think that we will see some new cities. I heared a rumour that in the , very expectet by me, campain The Enemy Within we will see Middenheim - The City Of The White Wolf. So I just keep my fingers crossed to see it soon in stores.

I got nothing against an elven expansion but if I would have to choose then I would rather see a Bretonnia expansion.
