Hi everyone

I've just bought Arkham Horror and the first expansion, as too cheap to say no to. I've only had time to try it once so far with my brother, but the set up took a while and we run out of time basically. I'm going to try it on my own and was wondering if there are any great guides out there to help me thru it. I'm not even thinking of the expansion yet, obviously til I fully understand the game. Any characters that you feel I should start with etc.

Darrel, Mandy, and Joe are all very strong characters (good for newbies). Errr.. You need to schedule 3-5 hours for a game. Especially the first few games (which tend to take longer than most games— try playing it once by yourself so you can learn the rules). Just read and reread the manual several times, play a few games and then come on here and ask specific questions if you need help (either because you think it's too easy or too hard). That's what I'd suggest :')
