Here . As usual, I think that some of them are great (the Star Vampire) some of them are not (IMO, the Servitor absolutely sucks)
Third wave coming
I hate this company sooooo much
at this rate i will never have money again
Funny, but I like, and have ordered, the servitor, Lloigor, and star vampire.
The dimensional shambler sculpt is laughable. Yeah, shamblers are just big human forms, aren't they? Sheesh.
Deep one also looks cool, and I like the unconventional color choices.
Lloigors…are not big armored worms? =/
The Star Vampire and Servitor are gorgeous, the rest are okay, I guess. The Deep One is very unconventional. The Riot's center guy actually looks happy. "Look what I found, a shovel! Yay!"
Lloigors can take reptile form, but can also take an "energy" form.
I agree that the quality varies a lot. But this batch doesn't have anything that looks really bad.Like the zombies that look more like neanderthals.
I had wished for some star spawns though, but i'll guess i'll have to wait another month or two for those.
In any case i'll buy them all, i really love playing the game with the miniatures. Although i don't have a clue on how to store them all. I guess i'll have to build a custom case for them once they all are released. And i really hate building stuff…
A mixed bag, but I'll be getting one of each. I think the Elder Thing (wave 2) is the worst so far, but most are good.
I keep them in their original cases when not in use and keep them all in a large cardboard box. Not particularly thematic, but it's practical.
I'm enjoying these releases incredibly. I do still want to see the Arkham Toolkit app have a virtual monster bag, though, because I'm keeping the monster tokens permanently in the base from now on and am using an imperfect randomizer as my monster bag.
I'm wondering why this wave is smaller than the previous ones. Did they make a decision that the cost would be better spread out over smaller waves? On the one hand it is nicer to spread the pain out, but on the other it means that we have to wait longer to get the full set released. It looks to me like currently there are about 21 to 24 sculpts that are not yet out (the variance is because I don't know if the Child of Abhoth will get 3 unique sculpts or just one generic one), which to me indicates two more waves based on the size of the last one. For someone like me who's buying one copy for each token, though, the costs are going to be higher for some of these since a lot of these pieces have 4 tokens (Nightgaunts, Deep One Hybrids, Formless Spawn, Being of Ib, Servant of Glaaki).
Liked most of them, at least none were as bad as the Yithian. Was neutral on the servitor, but I'd say it wasn't what I'd had imagined.
21? I counted 20 unique left, though I very well could be missing one. Left I see
Barnabas Marsh/Being of Ib/Child of Abhoth/Colour out of Space/Deep one Hybrid/
Fire Vampire/Formless Spawn/High Priest/Moon-beast/Nightgaunt
Priest of Dagon/Rat-Thing/Shan/Serpent People/Servant of Glaki/
Spectral Hunter/Star Spawn/Tcho-tcho/Tcho-tcho priest/Tendril of Nyogtha
Not saying your wrong, just worried if there's one I'm missing.

Flying Polyp?
Yep. The Flying Polyp was missing. Only 1 of them, thankfully. 49 figures left to buy, though.
Thank You,
your right, the Polyp was hiding with the fire vampires.
Are most of you buying as many minatures as there are monster tokens in AH and expansions, or just one or so of each? Same as regards to investigators. Anyone using the minatures while playing Elder Sign?
I've been buying about half as much. Since you rarely end up with all of them from the monster cup actually on the board I didn't bother with one for one. 1-2 Token = 1 miniture, 3-4 = 2 minitures, and so on. That said I also don't put the token into the miniture slide space. It's too much of a bother to choose from the monster cup and then cram them in. Instead we just keep them to the side of the board for reference.
I just haven't bothered with the monsters yet. I would never use them in a game for practical and spacial reasons, so I'm just not yet willing to risk activating my "completist OCD" by buying any of them, if they're just gonna sit on a shelf.
On the other hand, I have purchased all of the Investigators--my cultists adore them--and I do indeed use them when I play Elder Sign.

That's what I do too.
It would be better if the monsters just had small stands like the investigators.
The whole slot thing seems unecessary as it makes the monsters take up far too much space. Also many of the models actually damage the token due to rough plastic "bits" inside the slot.
I like the way the models give a 3D aspect to the board, but it's far too fiddly keep putting the token in and out.
As they clearly aren't stackable you have to keep removing tokens from flying mosnters whenever they go to the sky (when there is more than 1).
You could scan your standard monster tokens, glue the scans on foam, cut it and insert it permanently into the monster figure stands.

Yo.
