So a blinded walker cannot perform a sustained attack. Since indirect fire uses the sustained attack action, I'm thinking that a blinded walker cannot do indirect fire. Is this right?
Can a blinded walker to indirect fire?
That is a clear RAW rule imo. I agree if your walker is blinded it can not do indirect fire as it can not perform a sustained action.
I concur as well.
sounds reasonable to me, hasn't come up in our games yet but I'll be using it
if irc the blinded effect only says no reroll not no sustained fire but i dont have the book to check right now so maybe?

I don't have my book with me, but I know I'm playing a game tonight where we both have artillery walkers and was wondering if blinding could be an effective strategy. I'll have to check the exact wording when I get home I guess, unless someone else can chime in to clarify.
page 44: "When taking a Sustained Attack action, the vehicle cannot reroll any Combat Dice for the rest of the game."
So, I'd say you CAN fire indirect, because it doesn't say you can't do a Sustained Attack, just that, when you do, you cannot reroll the dice.
Which was an odd way to word that . . . until I saw this thread!
Thanks guys. I thought it was strange that Blinded would do that - now it makes more sense.
Good catch Craig. I reverse my opinion. A blinded walker obviously can still fire indirect.
Yeah I didn't have my book on me either so I was going off of Felkor's wording for the specific indirect firing rule. Thanks for the catch there Craig!
No worries, guys, glad I could help! Just happened to have the rulebook in my briefcase during lunch . . .
Just jonesing to get my next game in, and jealous of ya'll who are playing so much!
