So Pyrophobia states: After a characters STR is reduced to 2 or lower by a card effect, return that character and all attachments on it to their owners hand.

My question is can this effect be used to return multiple characters if multiple cards have their STR reduced in the same action window. Like with Hatchling's Feast or Threat from the North? Multiple characters have had their STR reduced and one Pyrophobia is played. Do all return? or only one?

So even if multiple characters are having their STR reduced to 2 or lower, each Pyrophobia only gets one of them. The important thing here is that Pyrophobia is a Response: so it much be triggered. And since it's on an event card, it can only be triggered once. The event is only aware of "a" character during the trigger, no matter how many there are.

It's also worth noting that if the character is killed or discarded at 0 - before you can play Pyrophobia - it will be too late to return it to hand.
