Has anyone used this and liked it? 30 AP seems pretty expensive for a "Once per game".

Nobody I have met thinks it would be worth it, its better to just buy a steel rain at that price.

It would seem that the platoon upgrade in question is for use in games for which you do not have enough points to play. Perhaps for newer players?
