I am very new to Dust Tactics and I am curious as to what the promotional figures are like, how do the models look and how do they play both in the board game and in Dust Warfare. Are they worth tracking down or at least keeping an eye out for? Thanks in advance for any info.

All the promotional figures have been officially released in the Hero Packs, so there's no need to "track them down". And most of them are VERY useful for your army. The zombie heroes are invaluable for an axis player, and Action Jackson is a must-have to make the Red Devils work.

Just a little note but the promo figures have a a red logo on the underside of the base rather then a white one. also there is the promo walker, the loth but that can be made via a little lite modding.

You should definitely get the hero packs. Not because some of the characters were promotional figures but because they are great!
