If a Character has the Event/Follower Cursed by Hag with them & then turned into a Toad for 3 turns does a Toad leave the Hag behind in the space or does it stay with the Toad?

If memory serves me correct, the Hag was a "Stranger" in the original 4th edition from BI, where this would not be the case.

The wording in revised 4th on the Hag does not make an exception for the poltergiest. Because the Poltergiest is now classified as a follower, it would be discarded. Had this happen last night actually!

You say the Hag is a Fpllower which it states on the card but it is numbered 1 which is an Event, so is the Hag a Follower or a Event.

Numbers do not classify a card type; they are (and have always been) relavent to only the order in which multiple cards are encountered. You're trying to infer too much. The card is now a Follower (though for the sake of some of the rules conflicts herein) it should have remained a stranger (and not an Event).
