4. I didnt understand how and when do i use spells, would some1 explain that please? Also if i meet a monster that's resistant to physical damage, the only option is to try evading him, right? (if i dont have any spells)
5. My GF picked some quite nice women-investigator (who's name i dont recall now) and it was smth like she gets 1$ every new turn, is that right? Also about random and known investigator's starting items, i just take how its written and use the best items i get, putting the ones i cant or dont want to use at that moment, or do i have to put smth back that i cant use?
6. Are skills permanent? And can i have like 4 or so different skills? (like +1 will, +1 lore etc.) What if i get the same skill/item/spell i got, where can i sell it? and for the price that's written on it or no?
7. Do i put doom token on the ancient one's numbers everytime a gate opens? If so then the game ends too fast id say, cuz every new turn a new gate opens, so its like 12-14 turns a game lasts? Thats a bit too soon, keeping in mind that there's so much of everything left unused...
And i cant remember other unclear glitches atm...
#1: Um, you're sucked through the just opened gate. Monster stays (or moves if it's symbol came up, since there is no investigator there anymore).
#2: There can be 2 gates open to the same place at the same time, they don't interact in anyway. When you return from the OW, you can choose to return to either of the 2 gates leading to the OW you're in. Sealing has to be done immediately and by the person who closed the gate. Seals prevent a gate from opening again in that location.
#3: Probably go unconscious. Do you mean Evade (as in before combat) or Flee (during combat, after Horror check)? If former, then if you fail, monster deals it's combat damage to you, then horror check and then onto combat (you might choose to Flee), if latter, then you've already done the horror check, now you roll an Evade check, if fail that, then take damage. If you succeed in a Flee check, you remain in the location with the monster and will have to deal with it next movement phase again. Same if you Evade and decide to end your movement with the monster (for Clues for example).
#4: Spells can be cast when their bolded text states. Combat spell (Wither, Shrivelling) say "Any Phase", since combat can happen anytime from Movement to Mythos. If you want to cast a combat spell, exhaust it, you pay Sanity cost, roll for Lore with mod from the Spell, if you get a success, the spell works. If not, then it doesn't. In either case, it takes the hands required for that round of combat. Spells generally last "until end of combat", but if you quit allocating the required hands, the spell's effect ends.
#5: Yeah, Jenny Barnes gets $1 each upkeep. First fish out the fixed possession from the decks, then shuffle decks and deal the random possessions. I don't see what the problem is.
#6: Yep. No selling of skills, their effects are cumulative. 2 +1 Will skills gives you +2 Will and each Clue you spend on a Will/Horror check let's you roll 3 dice instead of 1.
#7: Everytime a gate opens in base game. Note that monster surges don't add a doom token, nor do gates that try to open at a sealed location.
? Mythos card opens the gate, so you're in Phase 5. Definately DO NOT go back to Phase 4 for an OW encounter, that should be obvious. Next turn, movement (phase 2), stand up, OW encounter during Phase 4. Next turn, movement, move to 2nd area of OW (assuming the OW encounter last turn didn't delay/return you to Arkham/LiTaS), phase 4 another OW encounter. Next turn, movement, return to Arkham. The turn you return, you do not have to deal with monster(s) on the gate.

as im not that good at english and want to get the answers fast so cant get deep into such things otherwise it would take half an hour each move
