Just ordered my copy of the Blood moon expansion from ebay.

Now all I have to do is wait for it to arrive in South Korea.

However am I going to teach today - might have to base a lesson on the greatest board game ever created!!!

Just ordered my copy from this website. I was too excited and so I got carried away and paid too much in shipping, hoping it would arrive in a few days here in Texas. I tell myself that money is no object, but the wife just shakes her head. I'm sure she'll say those words back to me in a few days after she comes back from Kohls.

10:17am -Email my AFOGS (Awesomely Friednly Online Game Shop) about Bloodmoon and said I could order the game now since he just opened the boxes and found those in there.

Talisman is the first game that I bought and couldn't wait to get ALL the freaking expansions ASAP! It's a really great and enjoyable game that plays great depsite the number of players, that's what I love about it.

Was talking about the new expansion last night with my wife and she wanted me to teach her how to play. This morning she played her very first game of Talisman (without the Highlands, Dungeon and Dragon expansions of course) and she freaking schooled me. Granted I was helping her quite a lot but I did not expect her to be so nasty - her necromancer completely trounced my minotaur. It was an awesome game (because I have been trying to get the missus interested in ages) but humbling…especially when she told me that I was never going to live it down.

The sad part was - towards the end of the game I gave up helping her and was trying to win. She wouldn't have any part of it.

I told her about the alternate ending coming where the players work together - now she is as excited as I am.

Been tracking my Blood Moon expansions from the states. Now in the Exeter depot of UPS. 47 miles away from me. Now do they deliver on Saturdays?! Suspense is killing me. Where's my phone lol

Well so much for that then; they arrive on Monday for definite! Aaaarrrrgggghhhhh lol At least I'll have them with me at UK Games Expo on Thursday.

I have updated the Talisman List of Components over at BGG to include the components of Talisman: The Blood Moon Expansion. They won't show until the file has been approved by BGG - probably Tuesday 22nd May!

My copy arrived this morning - but I had to wait all day before I could open it.

Definately love the new cards and the new game mechanics - but with that said there is absolutely nothing about Talisman I don't love. Am looking forward to the next game - and the chance to try out the new characters.

Also - thank you for including my favorite alternate ending from my childhood…as well as the Lightbringer ending which is going to be an absolute blast to play.

All in all I could not be happier. Can't wait to read even more reactions on the forums soon!!!

Can you please provide some spoilers? Which adventure cards do you like best? Which are most dangerous? Are there any game changing effects? (like for example "put all slain enemies on top of encounter deck" from Sacred Pool)

Yes, I saw that. My wife doesn't share my extreme enthusiasm for the last couple of expansions, but I showed her that end game, because she gets mad at me when I just attack with spells or whatever. Now I can show her my nicer side!
