Library Rules for Acolytes doing Research

By Wise Woodsman, in Dark Heresy

I wasn't sure if this would be better here or in the GM section, but I came across this blog recently that gave some of the rules of a Paris Library from ~1300AD and the first thing I thought of was Dark Heresy, sad I know. Anyway it seemed to me it might provide some ideas for adding flavor when the Acolytes were needing to do some research.

Now that is interesting, I love history and this is great way to bring history into the 40K world. Im going to have to tell my group about this. I know a few will get a kick out of it.

I did up a library of things reasearchers might find useful a long time ago.

Oooh, that's perfect! I hadn't seen that before. Definately will be making use of that. And the library stuff too. :)

11. Condemned books are available to professors of theology only—for use in line of duty only.

12. The professor is not to read such works for curiosity, lest he be poisoned.

13. Violators of that restraint are to be reprimanded.

See, this is where I'd be getting myself into trouble...

This thread should bring up some of the more rare, aspects of Dark Heresy, thanks for putting it up, the lowly acolytes are so oft forgotten.

Thank you, I was kind of hoping that it would go in that direction.
