Sheild of saphery and Attachment cards.

By adelucia, in Warhammer Invasion Rules Questions

My opponent is playing some DE attachment card that doesn't allow target attached unit to attack. I play shield of saphery in response. Does the get dicarded then?

Another question: My opponent has Black Guard Asparint in play ( this unit gains one power while any unit has one or more cards attached to it) and I have Judgement of Loec on another one of his units. Does the Black Guard get the extra power? I say no because the other unit is no longer a unit and that is what the Black Guard is constantly looking for in its check. But by technicality, it is a unit with an attachment as well. Thats my opponents arguement. Just for clearification, whats is the correct resolution?

Thanks.

Shield of Saphery prevents his attachment from taking effect. Its the same principle as Iron Discipline, and you can read about that in the FAQ if you want.

Check out the Rules Summary on Judgement of Loec, it says that its target ceases to be a unit, so Black Guard would not get the extra power.
