I started work on this last night (45min it was done and glue was drying) its going to be a centerpiece for a park or city intersection on a gaming table , The plan is to paint it up like a big stone statue…Ill post pics if folks like this idea! It goes well with the new time line Ill call it "hero of the axis"

That would be pretty sweet, and easy to paint up. Just give it a good dry brush of gray and you are good to go. The SSU statue on the Dust Games website is pretty sweet as well, so you may want to look into that!

1/16 scale. That's, what… 4-4.5 inches tall? Should look fantastic on a nice plinth. Either in stone or bronze with a nice patina. Either way, don't forget the pigeon poop!

That fountain is one of the best pieces to kit-bash fountain scenery from.

I did a 40K inspired fountain using one as a base a while back, and I just snagged another one off ebay for $10 that I plan to combine with the Zverograd statue from Dust Models for a SSU themed fountain, but you have beaten me to the punch as far as a Dust themed piece using it…

I am going to try and do a rough recreation of the Stalingrad fountain. I will post pictures when it is finished but it is probably going to be a month or so with all the projects I have going.
