Who wants a laugh

Behold i send you out as sheep amidst the wolves demonio.gif… I love Chick comics, they are always entertaining to read. I think somewhere I have almost the whole collection, I pick them up at random from the Jesus freaks who preach near the local subway. Getting new ones is almost worth having to hear the fire and brimstone crap that spews from their ignorant mouths.

They are great inspiration for zealots. The problem is… they actually are. :T

Wow that was an interesting read. Scary, knowing that people out there actually believe taht stuff.

Kind of sucks that we are all going to hell and destined to murder people too. And here i thought this was a wholesome hobby that kept us mentaly stimulated.

Gitzman

What!!!

You mean I've spent twenty years GMing this game waiting for my satanic glory, and now I see its all lies?!

No fires of hell and lustful succubi… just the torment of my players as their characters succumb to said fires and succubi…

Ah well, its still fun.

Yeh good point! All it says about GM's is that we get power dominance over submissive players, where's the bit where we get sent to hell! I want my eternal damnation!!

hehe, there's an old Danish news clip, with roleplayers debating with christians.

At one point one of the roleplayers says: "Seriously, the only difference between you and me, is that I actually know it's not real".

That was classic…

<like>

jh

You have to admit their rule book is allot more detailed than ours, but they have some very large inconsitancies and conflicting rules.

I would stick to warhammer and leave the LARPing to those religous nutz

I like the part where he told the girl together her Rock Music, ocult charms and D&D Material and the will burn it then that evening.

I almost would have thought they get over Rock Music. :)

And burning all your D&D Stuff is a good move to make room for all the new Warhammer Stuff. And burning books you don't like have some real meaning in germany.

"Erosion of family values-the Dungeon Master (DM) demands an all-encompassing and total loyalty, control and allegiance."

So true. gui%C3%B1o.gif

*applauds*

That's awesome.

Seriously, people who believe that garbage that was written there are mentally ill. I've been roleplaying a LONG time, and I have never ONCE participated in a satanic ritual as part of the game. Not even sure I've done it IN GAME… :) And casting a spell usually consists of a player saying 'I'm going to cast X spell' not reeling off scripture and summoning evil spirits….

They are nutters.

Hey, that first comic was pretty good actualy… I would totally read it HAH!!!

Well, it is very sad when any narrow minded group or individual generalizes like that, reminds me of a day a religious person came into my friend´s RPG store and tried to convince us it was the work of the devil.

My friend was very polite, trying to show and explain how all that was a fantasy, a game, and showed that no one took it seriously, but the visitor could not even listen, just kept repeating the same thing over and over about evil…

Anyway, I consider myself a spiritual person, nor a church person, and I did not want to imply everyone that is a church person is narrow minded (I have some very very religious friends who see no problem, being christians and playing PnP RPG, Diablos etca…), just saying it is sad always, to see things like these…

I did once go to a CoC LARP that had part of their setting in an abandoned church. That was kinda cool :P. Fun thing was that part of the gig was raising money for it's restoration.
