Is Lightning attacks the most attacks per round, or is there something else that you can do in order to land more hits or do more damage? (I am an assassin.)
In Dark Heresy, is Lightning Attacks…
Lightning Attack on page 117 should include the
additions: “If you have the Two-Weapon Wielder talent
and are wielding two melee weapons, you get the advantage of
Lightning Attack with only one of the weapons, and a single attack
with the other. If you have the Two-Weapon Wielder talent and are
wielding a melee weapon in one hand and a pistol in the other, you
get the advantage of Lightning Attack with the melee weapon and
a single attack with the pistol.
This is from the errata, I think you could get 4 attacks max with fighting with two weapons.
It says "you may not use the dual strike action with a lightning attack full action." So no, that wouldn't work it seems… :/

Yes, it works and it's exactly how it is done according to the Rogue Trader corebook (and I assume DW and BC do the same as well).
You can use Lightning attack to get 3 attacks with your main weapon and one additional attack with a weapon in the other hand (which could be a pistol, not necessary a melee weapon).
Why then, does the DH corebook contradict this?
The DH rulebook does not contradict this. What Darkwing says is that you can attack three times with one weapon and one with the other (4 separate attack rolls). Dual Strike is one attack with both weapons (1 attack roll).
I break it down here:

Dual Strike cannot be combined with multiple attacks in any way.
Interrogator Z.
The confusion is just that Dual Strike is not Two Weapon Wielder.
Yes, if you want "more attacks per round" then Two Weapon Wielder is pretty much your last option after Lightning Attack.

Maybe because the last time DH errata was made was in 2009 when Rogue Trader is a 2009 game, Dwathwatch a 2010 game and Black Crusade a 2011 game?
All 40K lines after DH allows you to make 4 attacks if using Lightning Attack + Two Weapon Wielder. So I say there is a pretty strong base to say that's how it works.

+1
Well until u get to Ascension
Storm of Blows
Replaces: Ambidextrous, Dual Strike, Lightning Attack, Swift Attack, Two-Weapon Wielder (Melee)
It allows u if u have a weapon in both hands to either make 2 Dual Strikes or 1 and 2 seperate melee strikes

I broke it down first, although with an error in the "no talents" section. But I doubt anyone cares that.

Sure, you did it first. You will forgive me if my memory of what I have posted is better than my memory of what you have posted.
