myself and a few from coventry and hopefully the people who go to the smethwick tourny should be there.

my self and hewitzle are planning to make it your tourney but i doubt any more from our area can make in time on a sunday it would have been a lot better for teh sheffielders who have to train it as non of our play gorup drive . But thems the breaks

National express bus from sheffield to leicester leaves Sheffield at 8.45 and arrives Leicester 10.50, bus station is 500yds from shop
Train is more expensive but leaves sheffeild at 9.45 and arrives 10.39, train station is 10 mins wak from shop
Tournament registraion opens at 11.00, event starts at 11.30 (we can always hold on if trains/buses are delayed and someone lets us know!)

Is there any travelodges or Premier Inn's near the venue because we are thinking of stopping over the night before.

It was mentioned in the main thread about regionals that it'll be a Block 2 tournament.

Just wondering what you mean by blcok 2, being new to the game and all there are still some things i am unsure of .

Personally I really wish this had been a Block 3 regionals.
The regionals state-side are now (as far as I know) Block 3 events. In terms of the UK meta, while I know Block 3 isn't "in force" yet, I can't help but feel that running Block 2 regionals while the US are running Block 3 regionals puts us behind the curve, just as we were with UK Nats 08.
I know this isn't everyone's concern, or cup of tea; and I fully appreciate that. I also know that those UK players who have been playing Block 3 already have a vested interest in the format. That being said though, I still would have loved us to hit Block 3 for Regionals at the same time as stateside.

I've only gone with Block 2 as that is the current format, If the majority would prefer Block 3 then let me know and i'll announce here on Sunday with the decision.

If i could be sure of numbers i could give you an idea but we appear to be somewhere between 10 and 50 players at the moment so i'm not too sure, sorry

I guess i'll have to wait until the 23rd to find out if we're running block 2 or 3 lol.
latest update is iv managed to get a few more people down from nottingham with like of jack ( who works at rock city) and big mark hopefully who both go to the smethwick tourny.
this tourny is goin to be great i think.
oh bugger i just got my block 2 deck sorted and now its been killed
there goes that play testing time, dunno if i will have the stuff for block 3 by the time the tournament comes up, so will now have to see
