Mork’s Teef Ritual

Action: Sacrifice an Orc unit to put a unit into play from your hand. Then, deal 3 damage to a section of your capital.

Asuryan's Cleansing

Action: Cancel and discard target unit or support card being played unless its controller spends all resources in his pool. (If no resources remain, opponent can spend 0 resources to spend "all.")

My Question is simple. Can player use Asuryans Cleansing to cancel an unit played by Morks Teef Ritual?

Put into play=/play so I would say no.

same opinion : you aren't playing a unit, you're playing a tactic that puts a unit into play.

This is correct. Very nicely formatted question though. Would save me a lot of time if they all had embedded images of the cards :-)

Thank you for all generous help.

I see the reason for no and agree with all you.
