If you're going to somehow give me the Sansa prize, you could at least have the decency to spell my last name correctly. Grins. :P Love you guys! I had a great time losing to almost everyone.

That's how you drunk-spell it. :P

Also I would like to thank everyone who came to my place for the booze draft. Your chinese leftovers have been providing me sustenance since saturday :)

9 - Morgan Stana - Baratheon / Treaty with the South / Val

Well done ser! How did it fare for you?

Morgan is not a Ser heh. She did quite well, I am not sure if she is on these boards, but she went 3-0 until she ran into about 6 military and 5 kill events over the course of 4 plots against my Stark knight deck in her 4th match. I know she also lost to Dennis(went 4-1) in her 5th game and missed the cut to top 8 by 1 point of strength of schedule. I remember overhearing that one of her games was over in less than 15 minutes at least, which I think is how the deck is supposed to work.

All that said hopefully she posts on the boards and can let you know more how it played out.

I did play her in round 5 of swiss and won in 2 turns however that is not representative of her deck at all. she had shadowbob and doublemeli out on turn 1, a turn in which she art of seductioned me on retaliation. I was lucky to get 3 or 4 renown chars out and rush to victory with a few well timed orphans. also i believe i had a 7 card flop as well. her deck was very good, it just happened to play exactly into my strengths.

I wonder how much of a variant her deck was from mine. I certainly don't run art of seduction.

I will also say that if i didnt draw 2 orphans on round two to blank bob and meli, i believe that she would have have hit 15 power that round round for the win. just the luck of the cheat-- err, draw.

It's been pointed out to me before that if Brienne can be a knight, so can I.

Since someone told me that I was asked a specific question on here, it seems a good enough reason to log on and say something.

Overall the deck treated me very well. I could have played better the last two rounds of swiss. I know my game against Dennis also granted me the worst flop of the day (three cards, if I recall?), and I could just never get things going the way I'd like. Really, though, even if I had played better against SirDuck and Dennis, they would have beat me. They're stronger players than myself, and their decks just had answers for what mine was trying to do (~which I'll point out now was to win).

My first three rounds went very well. If I remember correctly, my games were the first to finish all three times. Games two and three I had six card flops and my opponents just couldn't gain the momentum to stop me. Not too shabby, I'd say!

Thanks so much to everyone I met and played! Special thanks go to Dennis who graciously invited me into his home just so he could steal my delicious Chinese food.

Dennis's fridge is dark and full of terrors. Things that enter that realm are usually never heard from again.

@Fieras - as I recall, it's fairly different from your deck. It was built more with the Martell Maester decks in mind, providing a guaranteed at least 4 turns straight of no Valar (pop Art of Seduction, assuming they don't flop it first turn, then 2x Power of Blood). However, we should have switched the plots around a bit anyway, as it's clear that it is weak to events of all kinds, from Martell shenanigans to direct-kill events. She will win Tennessee, I have it on good authority. ;)

who from here is planning on hitting tennessee? i am all of a sudden really tempted to make a road trip after i see that hotel rooms are only about $60.

They just didn't know you were a ringer with a bit of rust. Now if I'd entered … there'd be more wins for others. Back to the Wall for me.
