Narrative Battle Report w/ Pics

By Craig in NH, in Dust Warfare

I've just posted a Narrative Battle Report on my blog, McNerdigan's Pub.

It's narrative, so a story, rather than a 'then we rolled 10 dice because . . . " battle report. But I think it actually shows what kind of cinematic events can occur in your games, as well as how interwoven and interactive the turns are.

It was a 300 point game using the Battle Builder, where we ended up with Eliminate the Enemy in Close Engagement with No conditions (although the batrep reads like it's limited visibility . . . felt that way, the way I was shooting . . . ).

I've got to run now, but check it out, feel free to ask questions, and I'll hopefully have some time later to respond.

These are the pictures of the Armorcast buildings and Pegasus (discontinued, I'm afraid) Gothic terrain turned into a big church, as well.

Enjoy!

Or pretend to!

Awesome man, truly awesome. I wish more batreps were like that. :) I prefer to read a story if it's written and this was brilliant.

Nice write up! Thanks for putting it up. The buildings look great too. Now I'm double committed to picking up some Armorcast. The posters are a great touch.

Love these types of battle reports. They are a nice break from the technical breakdowns that everyone usually does. Well done.
