What is the definitive meaning of "any correspondering zone" in text?

Is that just foucsed on the opponent's zone? how about my zone?

It depends on the card. Page 17 of the Rulebook mentions that card could be referring to an opponent's corresponding zone (which would obviously refer only to your opponent), or any player's corresponding zone, meaning that it would effect your own zone as well.
