A question came up during our last play session.
Monsters can move into a familar's space. If one moves into the Bottle Imp's space does it take damage from the imp's aura? I think it would but would like to know if this correct.

Technically speaking, no. A space is not adjacent to itself.
OTOH, its really rather silly that the imps aura has an inner radius as well as an outer radius and the Bottle Imp is really rather pathetic for a silver item (pathetic even for a shop item frankly) so it does no great harm to the game to house rule it that the aura includes the Imps space.
Essentially the same situation as a flying monster entering the space of a hero with aura, which is in the FAQ:
Q: If a flying monster passes through a hero that has Holy
Aura, does the monster suffer a wound for the space it
“shares” with the hero?
A: No.
Thanks folks. The hollow cylinder of protection it is then.
just thought of something...what if a hell hound moves in the familiars space...does it take damage?!

Depends on how you apply the appallingly ambiguous FAQ reference to large monsters and terrain...
Sorry, no good answer here.
