Can the same unit be given multiple orders in the Command Phase?

By Finn Mac Cool2, in Dust Warfare

Assuming it's in range and there are enough orders, can the same unit be given multiple orders in the Command Phase?

For example, can a unit be ordered to Take Action to Move, then ordered to Take Action to Attack, then ordered to Attack again, and then again, until the orders run out?

No, one order per unit in a turn.

Could you tell me where this is in the rulebook?

Thanks.

Page 30, right column, last sentence above the heading "Take Action".

Thanks! We must have read that page a dozen times and I didn't spot that.

Hi guys my first post.

I actually thought about this rule. Is it possible to give a unit an order in the command phase, use the regroup command to take away the reaction marker, and then give them another order etc.?

I don't see anything specifically warning about it. The only thing it says is the unit can't have a reaction marker.

Pg 30 top right paragraph " A unit may only be issued one Order during each Command phase".

Hmm, Blitzkrieg allows for the free move and doesnt place a reaction marker on the unit, thus Ive been playing it as though it could then receive another order… but i see what it says there on page 30. i could go either way on that one, though that really makes that free order unimpressive.

I disagree on it being unimpressive. I think this order is very powerful. It allows you to reposition a squad during command phase which means your opponent can't react. Plus you still have the full complement of actions and reactions for the rest of the turn. You can use it to get out of all sorts of binds, plus put your opponent in a tough spot.

It does allow to move the unit and keep an action in the unit phase if you are suppressed though which can be useful.
