I recently got into the game and I love it, but I'm having trouble selecting a house to play for 1v1 and multiplayer. I prefer a more controlling style of play in 1v1, but in multiplayer I will play anything I can have fun with. Any advice?

Well, if you want control, you may want to go for lannister. Targ is also nice since it has burn and great attachment control. Here is what each of the houses do:

Stark: The theme is to kill all of your opponent's characters qucikly before they can recover. It is fairly simple to play.

Lannister: The best control in the game, the best economy, and can rip your opponent's hands apart.

Bara: This is mostly power rush, but there are a lot of bara decks revolving around knights.

Targ: Targ has burn, which is killing characters through effects that reduce characters to 0 strength. It also has dragons.

Martell: Martell uses revenge effects, so they win through losing.

Greyjoy: Greyjoys can discard cards off of opponent's decks and steal their gold. And they profit from winning unnoposed challenges.

Thanks for the advice. I picked up the expansions for Targaryen, Greyjoy, and Lannister to give each a good try and see which I like. If I wanted to purrse any of those houses, what chapter packs should I buy?
