No, Jaffer and Robb ruled that friends captured by Parasite Cage are considered out of your friend area, out of your control, but in play so the unique friend rule still takes place when playing friends.
So just to verify,
if they play monstro then 3 parasites and suck up my friends, i CAN play more as long as they dont have the same name as the friends sucked up? Biding by the Unique rule?
yes ffg rulled against parasite cage locking so as long as the charactyer you play doesnt have the same name as a caged friend you can play it.
