Walker Overrun of Infantry

By Peacekeeper_b, in Dust Warfare

Shoudl it be able to inflict damage or only suppression?

I'm on with only suppression. It's a walker, you probably have time to get out of the way, but it's going to be quite a bit unnerving

It is only Suppression and can cause up to its Armor rating in suppression. So a Walker 5 rolls 5 combat dice and adds one Suppression marker for each 'Hit" scored. Unless the vehicle has an External Fire, from the Vehicle Damage Table. It then does 'spray/1' damage to any unit it overruns…

Can you stop your walker on top of an infantry unit, forcing it to move, or do you have to end without being on top of it? Going all the way through infantry might be out of range of the unit - just wondering if you can stop in the middle.

You can stop in the middle, but it just forces them to move outside of 1" of the walker.

Page 37 under Vehicle Overruns "If a vehicle would end its movement within 1" of any soldier miniature, that miniature must move the minimum distance to be at least 1" away from the vehicle, bt the shortest route possible."

Yes - I didn't know whether "within 1" also included "right on top of". Thanks for the clarification guys. That makes more sense to me anyways (since the enemy has to move their units anyways.
