Excellent work. What models did you use? And what did you use for the base? Looks great.
amazing conversion and please tell us how you did it….and how to make cards Id love to get a template if anyone has one!
Thanks guys. The model was an off brand I found on ebay so I don't recall the brand nor did I ever hear of it before. The conversion was done using the regular sniper/observer figure with the binoculars and the other was the medic mini from the command pack with the wrench. I removed the wrench and cut out out slots to hold the mags. The base is just one of the DT bases you can get online from DUST. The figure manning the gun is from the Tamiya Quad 20mm AA gun set he is the guy who is feeding ammo to the gun. I flipped his left hand to be over the center wheel that turns the gun between his legs. Also from the Tamiya kit are the small ammo box and mags. That's pretty much it.
As for the card a fellow forum member is helping me with it. Once created I will post for review and feedback along with some special rules.
Im working on the Quad AA gun so once finished Ill post as well. Happy gaming!!!!!!!!!
Really great job!
I had thought about doing some heavy MG squads on a walker base (which can be ordered from dust-models) using some custom setup/deploy rules similar to how reload currently works and superior reactive fire.
Looking forward to seeing the how your 2cm Quad Flakvierling turns out.
I love this, for a stationary model it looks so active.
Very nice conversion work. Am sure the guys at FFG will take notice for future Dust units.
Now we need to see a PaK40 or 88s conversion Btw, those are Bragdon products you used for weathering right?

Thanks everyone. Im working on the quad now. The weathering powders I use are Bragdon. My pics suck as its an IPhone with poor lighting but the powders do stand out and do survive 2 coats of clear gloss and matt finish.

Yeah i was trying for some movement or at least the impression of talk between the spotter and gunner. Thanks for the positive feedback.
Ok found a pak 36 and 40 on quarter kit and an 88 kit from italeri on ebay. Ill post picks when completed.
Excellent piece, looking forward to see more! DT sure could use some more light artillery pieces outside the walkers…
You're a monster dude. Can't wait to see your take on the Dust universe version of both guns!!
The AA gun I used was from ACE models there is one on ebay for sale.
Wow, don't you think that spotter makes it a bit OP?

I don't think so, it's not like it rolls a bucket load of dice.

When creating the model my thoughts that since it is an AA gun it would need some kind of spotter but in this case the gun is in an anti infantry position so I did not intend for it to be used as an artillery spotter. If that helps.
