I am just starting to get into Dust Tactics/Warfare. I am hoping to get a used original core set in a few weeks. I am buying the revised core and a bunch of units this weekend. But I do not want to duplicate what is on the original core since I will be getting it later.

Is there a list of the units that are in the original core set some where? Or does anybody here know off-hand?

Allies: The Gunners, Recon Boys, BBBQ Squad, Joe, 2x Medium walkers.

Axis: Recon Grenadiers, Battle Grenadiers, Laser Grenadiers, Sigrid, 2x Medium walkers.

A few of the units are similar, but the OCS is such a great deal it's hard not to justify having both. The extra units can also help balance out what some perceive as an imbalance in the forces in the Revised Set (I have no opinion on that). The four walkers would cost you $70 at Miniature Market. And tiles are better than posters. And more dice.

You might want to pick up a Gunners and Battle Grenadiers box so you can make a 'bot hunters squad for the Allies and Axis. Gunners come with an extra bazooka and Grenadiers an extra panzerschrek.
