Anyone have an extra Marcus they are willing to part with?

By Keerplunk, in Dust Warfare

Heya peeps

Was wondering is anyone out there had an extra Marcus they were willing to part with. I was thinking of converting a normal ape but decided against it as then I would no longer have the correct amount for a section.

I will check this post so if ya have on please post an let me know thanks

Good luck! I am hoping that FFG will re-release the expansion heroes so that Dust Warfare customers aren't required to buy $40 expansions just to get two heroes. That said, I think Operation Seelowe (with Marcus) is the one with the building, so it might actually be worth getting on it's own. You can never have too much 28mm terrain.

It's Cerberus that comes with the building. Operation Seelowe comes with building tiles for Dust Tactics that won't be of any use for DW players, but it does come with some ammo crates and tank traps that could be used in Dust Warfare. Still, probably not worth the cash if you're just going to use it for Dust Warfare.

Wow, thanks for the heads up! I knew one of them came with a building, and when I saw "building tiles" I mistook it for a building. Glad I didn't push the buy button…

The building is definitely nice, and very customizable. Angela and The Chef also make for some really interesting heroes. So Cerberus is definitely worth the purchase, in my opinion.

Im wondering if you guys who have played tactic thing that the missions and campign boxes would be a easy conversion for gaming with the Warfare rules?

I havnt had to chance to look into it so your input would be awesome…..thanks

Id also be interested in a spare Marcus!

A lot of the scenarios I think you could defiitely duplicate in Dust Warfare. There would need to be some minor modifications, but they would certainly give lots of ideas for scenarios. A handful couldn't really be done (there's one in SeeLowe that only uses heroes, so that wouldn't fit Dust Warfare's platoon system, although I suppose you could ignore the platoon thing too if you wanted), but a lot of them would be quite doable. I'm looking forward to trying out the Dust Warfare campaign scenarios - I was happy to see that they were made generic enough, terrain-wise, that you don't have to have a certain specific tabletop setup in order to play them.
