So I ordered Heros Call with Amazon back in February. It has not been shipped. I contacted FFG and they said "we have it in stock, do not know what the hold up is, contact Amazon." I contacted Amazon and they sent a form letter response saying, "Temporarily out of stock, this means the item isn''t ordered frequently. We cant predict exactly how long it''ll take to obtain it or when we''ll be able to ship it."

I want to cancel my order with Amazon and use someone else. Open to suggestions.

Does amazon have other 3rd party sellers listed that are selling the book for different prices► That is how I got mine. I went to amazon.com, clicked on the buy new link and nabbed one from a UK seller. I think I only paid about $4 extra for shipping.

This is what always happens with FFG RPG items at Amazon - they'll get there eventually, but later than your FLGS would get it. You'll pay cheaper prices eventually, but you just have to wait a little while longer.

Just want to report another instance of ill luck with Amazon regarding this product. I received an e-mail a while back, and was given the option of cancelling my order or reiterating my desire for the order, responding to the latter. Another month, and I just received an e-mail today:

I wonder what snag Amazon hit with Hero's Call to have so many issues. At this point, I'll put in a special order with my LGS and cross my fingers that I can get the product within the next two months~

I ordered Heros call 2 weeks ago on Amazon from scifi genre and recived it in around 5 business days, it cost me like 44usd including the shipping. Hard to understand how one can want it at the lowest price possible and than moan about the service and timeliness Anyway there are like a dozen discount websites that sell wfrp 3 at the same price point as Amazon (ccg armoury and scifi genre come to mind) that have it for like 30% off… but you might have to pay shipping.

Look, I understand you get what you pay for in terms of service. But it's really annoying to be waiting for the "imminent release" for two months only to be told it won't be delivered.
