Ghost of High Heart and TLS

By danach82, in 2. AGoT Rules Discussion

Interestingly enough, the text of Ghost of High Heart is rather atypicaly in that each part of its effect are not dependent on the other. Also it says "look at a player's hand" which could mean yourself. So rules-lawyering this would mean that with GoHH and TLS on the board, I could kneel GoHH to look at my own hand, discard a card (which I wouldn't have to do with TLS), and draw a card (since it doesn't say "then" it's not dependent on discarding a card first).

Another free draw engine with TLS, which isn't as efficient as Val, but isn't restricted either.

Just requiring kneeling GoHH, and it does say "Limit once per round", and GoHH is unique, so you're only drawing 1 card/round...but yeah, seems to work the way you describe.

If I am in need of help, of if I have a dupe of a dead character in my head, then this would be worthwhile just to try and help replace a less useful card at the time with better cards.

GOHH is a great card, and it works similarly to Jack-be-Lucky if you target yourself. I find it works great in Martell decks when you run Darkstar from the Princes of the Sun.

… that's why I have to read these forums… I just don't think of things like that!
