Fun Melee Targ Dragon deck

Here's a fun deck I use for Melee games, but it's still a work in progress. It's mostly a dragon-centric deck with some maesters to make it more robust and more interesting, and since I'm using Dragon Lore (CbtC) . I'd love to hear any constructive criticism and new ideas!

I often play against a Greyjoy deck which keeps Horn of Dragons (ASoS) in the deck, so I've made sure to have at least a few ways to deal with attachments. Modifications that I would like to make to this deck would be getting more Dance with Dragons and Balerion the Black, along with a few more maesters (preferably lower cost ones). It's kinda hard to decide what to get rid of, but I'm sure I would want to get rid of Blood of the Dragon (that one doesn't really fit in here), and probably some locations. I have too many locations here I'm sure.

If you are playing maesters, At the Gates (GotC) is a must. How about Paper Sheild (QoD) to protect Dany? How about Quartheen Fanatic (core)?

Thanks for the reply, yeah I think the paper shield is a pretty good idea, I'm pretty low on events. I also had the Quartheen Fanatic in there earlier and took him out to make room for something else. I probably should have taken out one of my locations instead. I don't have 'At the Gates,' but I'll look into that pack, it does look like a pretty good way to ensure I get a maester out early (at no cost).

So I have the impression that I have way too many locations...does anybody have a good idea about which ones I should trash first?

I'd remove Bay of Ice and the Kingsroad Fiefdoms. Even with the fiefdoms winning initiative in melee is a toss up so why give cards to others? You have three copies of Mereen, that should cover card draw one hopes better than Bay of Ice. If you want more draw add Meraxes instead. Then add another couple resources maybe. Street of Sisters at least. Also, remove the King's Pavillion. Stealth and lack of defenders will win you more challenges in melee than +3 str on non-kneelers, unless you are afraid of burn effects in your melee meta.

Next remove Blood of the Dragon ASAP. It was fun when it first released in Flight of Dragons, but it is a terrible card in the current game. If it gave the Dragon trait all the time I'd say go ahead and try it, but it only gives the trait in challenges so it won't give you a non-kneeler, and at 3 cost and in melee... not worth the gold.

Last, I hate Maegi's promise. Hate it, hate it, hate it. Mostly because I hate Dominance effects. Could just be because I remember playing Fire and Blood. If you really want to bring back dead guys, consider Retreat. Yes it only works when in your hand when someone dies and only on uniques, but Retreat is great in a Dragon deck, because if a Dragon dies you can just Retreat and then ambush them right back into play.

I would disagree with Freerider. Not only should you keep "Blood of the Dragon" but you should add at least another. Change your "Khal Drogo (Core) to "Khal Drogo" (WotN). He kills a character after a successful challenge that has a strength lower than his own. If you put "Blood of the Dragon on him he gets plus 6 str and that will pretty much lay waste to any character your opponent has in play and he won't have to kneel to attack he you have Dany in play. It's a no brainer. Also you need to keep your Kingsroad Fiefdoms if your going to play Magis Promise. You will need the influence more than the init. Also max out Balerion.

One more thing…lose the hatchlings!
