Here's a thread to post any evidence or rumors for the yet to be announced innsmouth expansion.

1. I worked for Fantasy Flight a few years back as a boardgame assembler, and I am still in contact with a couple of people who work there, as well as one who left. They are still planning to eventually do an Innsmouth Horror expansion. And that former Fantasy Flight employee, Darrell Hardy, recently finished a game called Innsmouth Escape, which is a different game from the planned Innsmouth Horror expansion. 2. Looks more like Bokrug to me, bringing his Doom to Innsm... I mean Arkham.

3. The prologue to the second Arkham league did not mention Innsmouth, however, the narrartor is Calvin Wright a highschool teacher. All the other Arham league stories involved investigators, so perhaps Calvin is a new investigator in the Innsmouth expansion?

4. Chapter 1 of Arkham league has an image of deep ones raiding a boat as well as two other images not appearing in any other currently released expansion.

Also, for what it's worth, there is a FAQ project in the forums which might indicate they'll release a big box expansion and include the FAQ in the new manual.

I wouldn't put too much stock in an unfamilar picture pointing towards a new expansion, as the last league used artwork from the CoC card game, which is most likely where the image you referred to came from.

However, my magic 8-ball told me that "All signs point to Yes" when i asked about Innsmouth. And, considering the viral marketing they used for Android, I could easily see this league being a form of vm leading up to a late spring/early summer Innsmouth release.

The first league scenario is about Calvin Wright's story, and he is not a playable investigator. Maybe all of the league scenarios link together to form Calvin's story—leading up to Innsmouth for the final scenario, where he is a playable character? That would be so epic I could pass out.

FFG seems to be doing something similar with the Call of Cthulhu LCG. The next six "Asylum Packs" are printed under the blanket title "Summons from the Deep", the cards feature (and promise) boatloads of "aquatic" artwork, and there is a new Neutral character named Julia Brown, whose game text portends at least two more card-versions of her in the future. Perhaps Julia Brown is to CoC LCG as Calvin Wright is to AH.

I'd take 8 GOOs as a sign that this may in fact be it for the expansions, otherwise they could just stick to 4 and get around to the others eventually. In any case, I wonder what they are. Bokrug for sure, and likely Dagon. Hydra will most likely be one of the heralds (Dagon might be the other, actually...). Here's hoping for Tru'Nembra, Daoloth and Ubbo-Sathla!

How "on target" is Fantasy Flight on release dates?

It varies, but it is best to assume that any dates listed are best guesses until a product shows as at least "on the boat" or "shipping now" on the Upcoming page . This is especially true with complex products like board games, that need to be assembled from a bunch of different components.

Often they are off, but it does seem like they are getting better. Android released on time - but, they also gave it a release date about 2-3 weeks after they announced it. Their December releases all released on time, but their September releases were all late (but, from what I heard, that was an issue with thier print house -- which is still ultimately a release date problem). Also, they have delayed projects when the first batch of copies failed to meet quality specifications.

Still, I am optimistic that they will hit these release dates.

Huzzah! Does it come with a free Table expansion so we can play the frikken thing?

I prided myself on having a table that could comfortable fit everything. Now, if Innsmouth is 2x a normal board expansion, that may not be true anymore :'(
