A few rules questions, especially on triggers and timing

By killjoy00, in Warhammer Invasion Rules Questions

1. Offering to Hekarti. If you have a token on this, can you really kill every one of opponent's 1 toughness creatures "for free"?

2. Hag Queen. If I have a Hag Queen with 3 damage and a slave pen, can I use her ability, then sacrifice her to slave pen and still have my opponent discard a card?

3. Seasoned Corsairs. If I place them onto Hekarti, does Hekarti get a token?

4. Once per turn for Slave pens includes both players turns, right? So I can add one on my turn then another on their turn?

5. Soul stealer. If you take a creature with a leaves play ability, like say Glorious Preceptor, do you get to draw the card when it dies?

6. Duregan Thorgrimson. If he is the only creature in play, does he kill himself? What about zealot hunter? Seasoned corsair?

Thanks to all!!

1. You need to have a token on the quest to give a unit -hp. if the unit has as much hp as it has damage on it (or zero hp if no dmg) then the unit is destroyed regardless of toughness

2. you choose the action on the hag queen, your opponent may take an action in response, if he does not choose to the effect stack is going to be resolved, which cant be interrupted. so you cant sacrifice it after using the effect. however it would be different if a player chooses to do an action in response which would allow you to do another action in response which could be the sacrifical.

3. if they kill something by putting them in game with their abilty.. yes... but only if they kill something.

4. yes

5. the card is under your control when it leaves play so you are the one who draws the card.

6. The card effect is an action. so you choose if you want or if you dont want to use it. It would be different if the effect was forced..

5. the card is under your control when it leaves play so you are the one who draws the card.

6. The card effect is an action. so you choose if you want or if you dont want to use it. It would be different if the effect was forced..

2. Whether your opponent responds to your activation of the Hag Queen's effect or not, you then get the opportunity to respond. So you can sacrifice it to Slave Pens. Even if your opponent passes, you can always respond to your own action. The chain doesn't start resolving until both players have passed consecutively.

6. Actions are optional, so you can just choose not to activate the effects or Duregan or Seasoned Corsair. If you do activate it though, and there is no other unit in play, they have to target themselves. Zealot Hunter's effect is Forced, so you have no choice. If there is no other unit in play that meets the condition, he has to target himself.
