Feelers about NPC dice

I was just wondering, but can your ice queen encounter a character immediately when you roll the Ice queen mark on the die.

So she can also encounter characters in the Highlands or dungeon?

Yes, we play her like that.

When you roll a snowflake with the black dice at the end of your turn, the ice-queen teleports to your space (both outer, middle regions on mainboard, and highlands and dungeon). And you roll a dice following the result on the ice-queen card.
Sure, I miss the "flavor" of her looking after her subjects, but now we won't miss any small snowflakes, and she is much more active, thus more dangerous.

I agree that this makes the Ice Queen more active and more dangerous:)

She can appear everywhere now.

I want to activate her if you roll a 6 during movement. Then she will encounter that character at the end of his turn.

Then the Reaper and the werewolf will activate when rolling a 1.

It's a bit different, but your Ice Queen will also activate when you roll the right number( which is a snow flake icon)

Guess so. The main thing is that our game now has three different dices.

1) A bone-white Death-dice you roll at the start of your turn if the last player activated death, then you get to start your turn moving the Reaper.

2) Ordinary Talisman dice for movement and battles.

3) Black dice, to activate special creatures, events or dragon scales at the end of the turn.

@Draii,

Do you allow to use fate to re-roll the die if you encounter the Ice queen NPC?

I hope that my new painted Ice Queen Miniature will soon arrive:D

I am very excited.

it will be here within 2 weeks i think..

She has a Ice Sceptre and a Frostbite Sword in her hand:)

Professionally painted:)

Nope. The first dice roll is frozen and can't be turned by fate =D

I uploaded a picture of the dice on BGG; can't remember exactly where. Maybe I'll try to put another one up after I figure out how to shrink the file size. Jon at Talismanisland helpfully streamlined the file on his site, or else it'd still be a mess :)

I was thinking about a mechanic when 'doubles' are rolled as well. I thought about automatically encountering the NPC on that sort of roll, rather than just moving it…don't know if that's too much.

I think it partially depends on how many NPCs are active. My group doesn't use any but the Toad King (occasionally), but I still think about the mechanics of anything I stumble across.
