Can someone throw me some weapons that have this quality? I've ventured deep into the core book and dark heresy...but no answers to be found. Would be interesting to see how potentially destructive they can be...

There is an ork weapon in Into the Storm that has it. As far as I remember, that's the only weapon I've seen with that quality.

well...I've gone through Into the Storm and Deathwatch also. So at this point I am almost assuming there is no official candidates.

Volonx Thunderclap (DH - Inquisitor's Handbook)

Morgauth Burn Caster (DH - Radical's Handbook)

"Judgeslayer" Handcannon (DH - Book of Judgement)

My personal recommendation is the Burn Caster. (The name fits the rule of cool, and the statline is decent.) Of course, that's assuming you don't mind using a heretical xenos weapon...

Counterfeit Xenos Weapon (Hostile Acquisitions, page 57)

Won't go into great detail for copyright reasons, but it allows you to give any Exotic weapons that deal Explosive or Energy damage the Unstable quality.

Excellent work, ill have to feast my eyes on hostile acquisitions soon, sounds most intriguing.

Oi, we missed one: The Zappy Gubbinz upgrade can be applied to most Ork ranged weapons, and grants unstable along with a few other traits. It's also in Hostile Acquisitions.

Also there is a Melta Pistol in The Chaos Commandment with the unstable quality.
