Terrinoth 2012, your chance to get the 4 promo figures

By Frog, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

I really really wish there was some way I could make it down. :(

Too bad for us who live really far far away(Spain), I wish I could go there and get those promo figures, hopefully they will release them.

as always they do not give a sith about European players

Same here, iam from Czech republic :) , only thing that i envy america is their gaming clubs, geek fests and nerd events :)

The worst thing about this is that we definitely won't see Descent 2ED until July... :(

As i'm sure you're all aware of, these promo figures are the same ones that were available years ago as promos and for sale in their online store. So if you got them back in the day, you don't need these. However, they did eventually sell out, so if you missed them this is another chance to get them. What they have done in the past is to put extras from these events up for sale. So, keep your eyes ready and grab them if they go back up in the web store.

I already have the promos, wish I could get my hands on the other things...

Whatever. It's not like everybody in North America can make it down there either without dozens of hours of travel by car/bus or by plane. Would you travel from London to Moscow for such an event? It's just a gaming event, get over it.

Those bonus dudes were available for sale a few times, I got mine a couple of years ago in their yearly Christmas sale. Don't care about the rest.

I am just happy that living in Minnesota will actually be beneficial for once. Normally, everything that is of interest turns out to be on either the West or East coasts. Please just let us have our short time in the spot light. For me and my gaming group we are all about getting the promo characters.

you are right.

i wish that some rules were presented, because we are all waiting and I hope, at the end, it wont be big disappointment

There's also the fact that these promo figures were released in Europe first. It took some time for them to come across to us North Americans.

Maybe you should start the poking the European distributors and ask them why they never re-released the figures, instead of whining about how Americans get all the good toys.

Ah almost off-topic, but if anyone attend the convention and later would like to sell or give away the other swag (keychain, t-shirt, pamflet), please contact me :)

Actually come to think about it, I think Nara the Fang was included in the very first printing of Sea of Blood, so I picked up the other three at the Christmas sale.

Keep your eye on the FFG store the week after the gig, sometimes they put their extra copies on sale there.

A friend told me about Descent and Started playing around a year ago after being a long time Heroes Quest fan. Cant make Minnesoto to far would love to get my hands on them promo's but refuse to pay the ebay price. plus GenCon right around the corner ans is a hour 1/2 drive for me

I''d be tempted to carpool with a group headed that way, but Minnesota is a bit too far of a drive from Florida for me to go at it alone (it''d cost me over $300 in gas alone). And if I can''t afford the gas, then I definitely can''t afford the airfare. **** my tight budget and expensive hobbies!

If there is anyone who will come to that event and do not need promo figures or already have them I would gladly buy them, because I live far away from USA and for me it is impossible to come there.

Igor.
