Fighting the Ice Queen alternate ending.

By rogue warrior, in Talisman Rules Questions

My question is this: The card states that each time a character on the Crown of Command defeats the Ice Queen he removes one of her lives then immediately attacks her again(unless he/she is defeated).

Now the card also says that if a character has already removed most of her lives, then that character(or another player) wins the game when they remove the remaining lives.

By the standard Talisman rules for the Crown of Command, when another character reaches that space and a player is already there they must stop and fight one another until one is defeated. Does this mean (a) the players must attack each other first, (b) Each player on their turn can attack the Ice Queen or © only the first player to fight her can battle until he is defeated, loses his life and rolls on the card chart(in which case the next player can jump in to fight her until he is defeated, etc.).

If you play with the Ice queen ending, characters do not attack each other, but they attack the ice Queen instead

If player A cannot kill the Ice queen, then player B can try to kill her by removing the remaining lives on her card.

( So it's option C gui%C3%B1o.gif

Thank you for the clarification on that card, your reply will be most helpful. Unfortunately in our last game only one person managed to fight the Ice Queen, and had defeated her before anyone had a chance to jump in. Lol.
