So great to see this today! The game already looks awesome. I love the branching quest idea.

Looks great. Can't wait to play it.

Huge fan of E1.

Very excited about branching paths (genius), double sided tiles, new models.

Skeptical about all else.

Not too excited about all the future painting.

Whoohoo, finally we get some info, and best of all it looks like fantastic gameplay elements, namely the dynamic campaign system and included campaign. I can already see campaign expansions that have a new campaign and the bits to support it (tiles, objects, etc.).

Best part is they said this was preview 1 of more coming in the week. Can't wait!

While I was excited as hell to see descent 2e on the news list for today, is it wrong of me that I expected to see a video of Rick Astley when I clicked it?

At last... I believe that the 2nd edition will be balanced this time from 2 to 5 players!

I'm glad we've finally got some more information about this game. I thought it was going to be another Gears of War (e.g. years of checking the upcoming tab).

Added to my wish list...

I just wanted to add my voice to the masses to say that I can't wait for this new version (even though I don't think there is anything wrong with the old one), and that I really want it all to work together.

Overall, I think the minis look good, nicely detailed. Hope the larger bases are actually flat this time...

Going by this preview, I'd say the date of late April/early May that was floated is probably inaccurate, but not by much - I reckon we can expect it late May/early June....

Because the first edition, which is the game with the most hours of play, the core set was unbalanced and you need the expansions! And the expansions were not balanced too clearly except the Road to Legend!

Did anyone see a hint of gold somewhere? How do we handle starting equipment without gold. Somebody kind of point buy?

I'm curious as to what those tokens are for next to the OL's cards. The players seem to have something similar.

Ooooo, Imma psyched. The first ed of this was on my buy list, but with this coming up....

I wonder if the Road to Legend will be nullified by the 2ed Campaign rules.

Most definitely. The only things used from First Edition will be the plastic bits (minis) if you buy the conversion kit.
