When I attack a legend from quest zone, my opponent has 1 unit at that zone as a defender.

The question is : can I assign damage to legend first, or I have to assign the demage to the defending unit, then give legend?

So can I use this to defend my legend?

Yes, this quest text breaks that rule.

Are you sure? I don't think "Any unit questing here may defend any zone" allows the unit to defend an attack on the legend via the kingdom or battlefield, unless "attacking a legend via a zone" is a subset of "attacking a zone".

2) legend i attacked and do not fight, only this other unit defends, so attackers must pass through defender in order to harm legend.

First one does not make much sense to me.
