War Movies for inspiration

By Guest, in Only War

To me WH40K is a dystopia, so I say: Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bom

Always with the negative waves Moriarty, always with the negative waves.

Best. Movie. Ever.

Here's one you might not have heard about yet:

84 Charly Mopic

Along with Hamburger Hill and Apocalypse Now one of my fave Vietnam war movies.

And since it's almost xmass:

Jingle bells

mortar shells

VC in the grass

you can take your merry xmass

and shove it up your ass

I have legit never even heard of that film and I thought I was all caught up on my Vietnam war movies. Thanks, Graves.

You're welcome. :)

Yes! mission accomplished!

It does seem to be an obscure one. And oddly enough i found out about it just watching TV at my gran's house. Wasn't even a special marathon or obscure channel or anything.

James Coburn's Cross of Iron is one Of my favorite war films.

If you are doing a tank based campaign, Lebanon. I haven't seen it myself, but some tankie mates of mine reckon it's spot on.

Well for what the penal legion would be like The Hill made in 1965

It's been mention before briefly, but Mutant: Chronicles got a really nice 40k vibe to it.
