Everywhere the game talk about creatures but even the rulebook says they doesn't exist.
For sure an expansion will come.
but why making the game with this word and no creatures at all ?

Suspense, surprise and geek drooling
But yeah, this game is screaming expansion potential!
I think that the references to creatures is an example of great planning. Clearly, they want to expand the game. By integrating creatures into the main game's instructions, this will make reading the rules when the expansion comes out that much easier.
the word "targer" would have be enough
Are you kidding me? This thing was DESIGNED to be expandable!
If I were the guy making the decisions at FFG, that would have been my primary reason for buying the license.
i would like to see a expansion, and the thought of a minion mancer deck does seem sweet but only if minions are counted as maintained spells so it forces you to sacrifice a full hand of answers for a board full of mobs but still… i wouldn't turn my nose up at it
My group plays with unlimited maintained spells variant, so seeing mobs of creatures would be even more likely and cool. Btw, I like that idea and it sounds completely plausible as the creature mechanic they may very well implement.
Counters for all drop-able items please. It was bad planning to not include them especially when spells force wizards to drop them. An expansion should allow them to rectify this one and only shortcoming to an otherwise awesome game.

I second this motion for all items having item tokens.
Granted, more is always better, but I guess we can get by by putting a hat token of one color where the item dropped, and a hat of the same color on the card which is set aside. It has never been a serious issue for me.
Any word on expansions for this game? I enjoy it quite a bit, and have been hoping to see more.
It is quite disappointing that there hasn't been any movement on an expansion for this game.
Look at this
Just wondering whether the fact that Kevin left FFG could slow down a little the arrival of expansions. After all, the 8th edition was done by both Tom and Kevin, right?
Hope expansions are going to be released in (near?!) future….
Near isn't soon enough, but an announcement of an upcoming one would be nice.
Looks like with descent there won't be any wiz-war announcement soon …
very sad that there hasn t been an expansion yet… hopefully there will come 1-3 expansion(s) … before 2030…
i guess the game would be even (a lot) more fun with more cards (and perhaps summoned creatures and stuff)!
Easily the most under-rated game ever. I've given up hope recently for an expansion and have instead opted for playing Gears of Wiz-War and Wiz-War Zombicide to spice my gaming nights with friends. How well this game mixes with other games is remarkable.

Aye, agreed. As I said before, I think the main problem is Kevin's departure from FFG. In his blog, he said that he wanted to finish "a couple of projects". One of these was the Elder Sign expansion. So, let's hope the other one is the Wiz-war expansion :-)
i'm so frustrated by this line in the rulebook
Creatures "there are currently no objects or being of this type in the game"
i'm sure the game would be so great with thoses
Imagine a phoenix, a black cat, a skeleton warrior, or something else

Please explain!
Hopefully it is just a matter of Kevin's leaving causing slowdown on development, as I am hoping this is the reason for no Cosmic expansion announcement yet.
The lead developer left and no one else at FFG cares about it? It didn't sell enough copies to warrant tasking something with an expansion they don't want to make.

Like I've said in the Cosmic forum, I would probably buy an expansion, but games like these, with awesome replay value, don't require expansions to keep my interest.
The company's attitude is terrible! They do not write anything, no news, I know that Wiz-War is not to be the most popular or best selling games, but we like it. Honoring the fans if they gave us some news.
