Spoiler Alert (for those who don't want any details about what lies ahead in RTL Dungeon levels)..
In Dungeon level #28 (Fire and Ice), the special ability for the Master Hell Hound Blaze states "Any hero hit by Blaze's attack suffers two burn tokens instead of one." After pondering that one for a few minutes to make sure I wasn't missing something grotesquely obvious, I was still left to wonder about the wording of that. In particular, the words INSTEAD OF ONE.
Maybe at one time, the game designers considered giving Hell Hounds the Burn ability, and I wish they would have....I mean, why not? The breath template certainly has the look of flame to me, so why wouldn't it burn? And I thought Hell was associated with fire. On top of that, Hell Hounds have been notoriously weak in Descent until they reach at least Silver level in RTL. Those poor puppies could very much use any kind of boost. But I badly digress..
Other than that, why the words "instead of one"? That implies that victims of a Hell Hound attack would otherwise have received one burn token, with that specific wording. And yet that isn't true. Has this been addressed? I can't make the search function work anymore. Thanks in advance for any thoughts or answers!
