Puritan sourcebook

By Arkio_Gannys, in Dark Heresy

I have been collecting and playing Dark Heresy for a while now and I've noticed that there doesn't seem to be a sourcebook aimed at Puritan Inquisitors. The radicals have DotDG and there are plenty of sourcebooks with info for your standard inquisitor but in my opinion there doesn't seem to be anything aimed at The more hardcore Puritan Inquisitors. My group tried the Radical path for a while but they did t like the fact that they were getting so many corruption and insanity points they were getting in such short periods of time.

So my question is; Does anyone else like the idea of a sourcebook aimed specifically at Hardcore Puritans? And if so, what kind of things should be included in said sourcebook?

I get the impression that basic Dark Heresy is moderate/puritan in outlook and being a hardcore puritan would only be a matter of roleplaying. There is plenty of 'puritan' stuff if you look creatively such as anti-psyker technology (witch cage), talents that make you resitant to corruption/fear/psykic powers (strong minded, resitance fear and psykic, insanely faithful, unshakable faith etc ), faith powers, 'cleanse and purify', talents that enable you to urge followers on in the face of madness, and so on.

I'm not saying that there is no room for some 'puritan' dedicated stuff, but the radical stuff is the divergance from the 'norm' rather than just another option, so I cannot see ffg putting out a sourcebook dedicated to it.

Of course you mean RH = The Radical's Handbook.

That would be BoM = Blood of Martyrs, which covers most of the Puritan outlook, the Monodominants specifically.

It barely covers any of the 'puritan' factions, not least of which are the-

Thorians

Horusians

Anomalian Beholders

Ardentites

Casophilians

Revivificators

There are small amounts of information on puritan factions in one of the books, Inquisitors handbook i think it is.

I like the idea just fine, though I think there are books, I'd prefer to see before a puritan book.

What should be included:

-Puritan factions within the inquisition, expanded.

-Careers (Though blood of martyrs had some really cool ones)

-Armory

-New uses of existing game mechanics

-Trials and accusations, how to conduct yourself with different levels of imperial society.

-Sin and Impiety, a look at the imperium from the perspective of the clergy.

-Sample adventure for a puritanical party.

My 2 cents :)

Forgive my possible ignorance but how do you make the Horusians as Puritans? They seem very, very Radical and outright heretical to me.
