Hi all.

I started having a look to that Beginner League, created by Tibs, and I can't find a proper topic where I could ask my questions. So I created one. If some have comments on it, they are welcome to share them too.

1/ I was wandering why some Mythos cards were removed, why only a bunch of monsters were kept, why some items were removed, and so on... ?

2/ For the first scenario, using only Arkham Horror board, I was wandering if I should put the aquatic token on some places ? I'm thinking about it beacause of the 2 skeletons with an aquatic movement which are still in the monsters cup.

it's very unlikely that you'll receive any answer from Tibs here (I'm saying this simply because I've never seen him posting here anything, so I hardly doubt he even reads this section of the forum). So, it'd be better if you post this in the main section of the forum, or drop him an e-mail or PM with your further questions.

Anyway, I can answer these two (I guess):

1. Scenarios were built in order to have a great theme. That's why you have to remove some stuff from the various decks, and add some other.

2. I guess they should be left aquatic. I don't think it's really relevant (odds of having aquatic monsters moving from Unvisited Isle to the River docks - or the other way round - are very small)

Yep, I thought about it, but since I'm speaking about a "fan creation", I'd prefer post here. And about emailing him, it sounds kind of selfish because the answers won't be shared with the community. Sure i could copy them here, but sometimes I'm feeling lazy

1/ The thing is, sometimes just 1 Tcho-Tcho is removed. It sounds weird. If one is thematic, why the second one isn't It's that kind of things that makes me wandering.

2/ Yeah, I agree that the aquatic movement isn't one most used... I even don't know if I already see an aquatic monster doing an aquatic movement... I just wanted to know if I should put the aquatic places or if I shouldn't care about them and have aquatic monsters without aquatic places.

Yep, I see what you mean. The main point is that he posted the Scenarios on the main forum (and over, at BGG). A possible fix could be this one: drop him an e-mail informing him of the existance of this thread :-)

Do you have a link for the topic where he posted them here ? I could read through it first, and maybe having some answers to my questions.
