So I have been rolling initiative using agility in fortune dice but a recent occurrence has caused me to think it's regular characteristic dice. Please confirm for me and possibly point it out what page it's on?

Initiative checks are Agility checks, just like any other skill check. You use your characteristic dice and any associated fortune dice (wherther from advances or racial abilities or whatever else) and it's the number of hammers that are that character's space on the initiative track.

If you've got the Player's guide this information's on page 73, if not you can read the exact same text on page 4 of the FAQ from the support section of the game here on FFG's site.

in the players guide it says:

players usually make their initiative check in neutral stance.

so my players take all blue dice and any fortune associated to AG

I don't actually own the players guide and have never read the erratas, where are they kept? What's strange is when we started three of us all read the core rule book we all came away thinking it's fortune dice. When I started my online campaign no-one mentioned this until our newest player had his first combat, prompting the question. Plus I've listened to all the rdp play episodes and still didn't pick up on it :/
