Something that came up in our games was how Defending goes.
This is the scenario.
I have three Units in my Battlefield zone and my opponent declares to attack it. I decide to defend. Now.... this is where I'm fairly sure my opponent was wrong. He told me that as I was choosing to defend, I HAD to defend with ALL my units there. Which was upsetting because I really wanted one of my guys to survive. He then dealt damage to the ones I wanted and left the others alone.
Now, the way I read the rules is that you choose who you want too defend with. Which means I can decide not to defend with certain units if I don't want too. Is this correct?
He also said that if I have units in a zone and he atttacks I HAVE to defend. But can I choose to not defend at all and let it all go too my zone?
