xeno inplants

By htsmithium, in Rogue Trader

i was wondering if anyone out there had let there(human ) players aquire implants of a non human/chaos nature. i am thinking more eldar and tau rather than orks, thou the the ork stuff is at least mentioned in official fluff( yarick?) while the others only show up in the occasinal BL book( one inquiter had wraithbone eye inplants and another had a tau rig)

just wondering what the stats would be and how you would hidethere nature to the reat of the imperium?

I think the closest your going to find is transgenic grafting. The rules for this extreme act of tech-heresy are on page 203 of the Radical's Handbook, basically the surgeon can implant or attach a piece of xenos biology to a human to replicate a Trait or Talent possessed by the xenos. Hiding this type of alteration would just be a matter of size and location. Internal grafts don't require much more than avoiding any internal scanning while something on the body may be hidden under clothes or helmets, something larger than normal might be chalked up to a mutation. There are those that are so alien that obfuscation is not possible.

Hiding Xenografts would be relatively easy; a full-servitor crew and going out of your vessel only in full powered armour wouldn't even be strange for a Rogue Trader. They're known for being an eccentric bunch.
