If you use it in combat does it cause fatigue to the enemy, just as in unarmed attacks?
Are there ways get rid of the primitive quality, or boost it in any other way?

Is this too insignificant question as it is or why people don't bother to reply?
Yes; Hammerhand attacks can cause Fatigue. There may be a Biomancy power allowing a Psyker to remove the Primitive quality from his attacks...
I noticed that in pyromancy powers you have even 2 powers that remove primitive from your unarmed attacks.
so you can get your hands into hammers(or something?) and fire them up with burning fist pyromancy power
I might be wrong but you'll do 1d10+4*strength E damage, non-primitive
on top of that, enemy needs to make agility or catch on fire.
The question is: is this possible/legal actually?

I don't see why not as long as you can sustain both powers.
