Psychic power invocation 0 dice?

I cant seem to find the place in the book that says you must use atleast 1 dice when using psychic powers, so can you go for roll 0 dice?

It says right there in the section "Manifesting Psychic Powers" that when manifesting a power you roll a number of dice up to your Psychic Rating. While 0 is a number, you cannot roll 0 dice, so it's implied that you must roll at least 1 die.

It is true that it is implied that you have to roll at least 1 dice, but never stated so take that how you will.

The way I run it, you have to roll at least 1 die unless you take a house rule talent (as an advance) that lets you roll 0 dice.

The Errata states that you must roll at least one die when manifesting psychic powers.

Yep.

'A psyker is required to roll at least one die to manifest an ability'.

ok i also understood it that way, but the psychic supremacy in dotdg talent would i my opinion allow the 0 dice roll, but it does grant much more, remove 9 roll if less than half your psychic dice , so you can "spam" every singel psychic power with out much overbleed and any warp threat.

and i didnt look in the eratta to find it my bad:P

I remember T.S. Luikart posting some of his thoughts on psycher rules a while back, and one of the things he wanted to introduce were extended rules for Invocation, that would allow a no-roll power invocation.

I view all Luikarts postings as semi-official house rules, and try to incorporate them into my games.

You can make the use of Psychic Powers safer also with the Lucky Minor Power (See the thread here about it), without any new rules. It is not as safe as not rolling any dice, but anyway...
