What's the limit of Strengthening a Power?

By Tectorman, in Anima: Beyond Fantasy RPG

You can spend PP to improve the Potential for a specific power. Every PP gives +10 to the Potential Calculation roll. Unlike Increasing Psychic Potential, the PP cost doesn't increase with higher bonuses (+10 costs 1 PP, +20 costs 2 PP not 3, +30 costs 3 PP not 6, etc.).

Your maximum is +50 (which, as far as I can tell, costs 5 PP). The maximum amount of PP a character can spend on a specific ability is 10.

Which is the limit? Can you really go as far as +100 or is the limit of PP 5, not 10? Or is it 10 with a maximum of 5 being spent on Strengthening the Power and the other 5 being spent to do something else with the power (and if so, what is this something else)?

This has come up before. It was a typo, but there is no official answer as to which way it is supposed to read. I believe the general consensus of the boards is that 5PP for +50 is the maximum you can put in the power, but I could be mistaken.

Yeah, I thought it probably would have. Unfortunately, I was not able to search the forums with the convenient little tab they have up top.

Also, did you notice that you actually answered my question before I asked it? Strange.
